Many AA Members Upset with Revealing Coercive AA Group

I posted some of Midtown's stories on a subreddit in order to gauge people's reactions. Boy was I surprised! Many people quickly defended the group. Some people claimed that the Midtown group helped "thousands of alcoholics." The person who made this claim never attended a meeting and simply accepted this as a fact based on ... hocus pocus?
